Thirty-two-year-old Jason Mahoney is a commitment-phobic grocery store clerk who finds himself at an inevitable crossroads. He is confused about his path in life, and is hiding from a potential romantic relationship. He can't understand what cashier Debra Springer could possibly see in a lazy, unkempt, stock boy like him, but she wants him. Bad. And she wants the whole deal: marriage and kids.
